3. Using a loofah

The only time a loofah works best is when it is new. A loofah is great for scrubbing off the dead skin cells, which are eventually stuck in the sponge. If left in the bathroom, these dead skin cells attract bacteria, and the bacteria continue to grow with everyday use of the loofah. This means that the bacteria (dirt) somehow find their way into your body after prolonged use.

How do we escape this? Always replace your loofah more often. Also, rather than leaving it in the bathroom, keep it where it can easily dry. Lastly, reusable items like washcloths are better alternatives to the loofah.

You need to be careful with your washcloths in the restroom toilet so that they don’t cause a blocked toilet drain and subsequently, a pressing need for bathroom renovations. Also, do not keep your loofah or washcloths around, except it is a clean bathroom sink drain.
